Project Sanctuary is currently seeking licensed therapists for both the Ukiah and Fort Bragg counseling centers.
Are you a licensed therapist seeking additional income opportunities as a contractor? Project Sanctuary is planning on launching an evening group therapy program for survivors of sexual assault at both their Fort Bragg and Ukiah counseling centers. Ideally, each location would have it's own therapist, but we are open to one therapist for both locations as well. Currently Project Sanctuary hosts group therapy during work hours, making this healing opportunity unavailable for student survivors or survivors with day time employment. By creating an evening session, we hope to allow more survivors the opportunity to process their trauma and heal. These groups are for adults only, making exceptions only for older teens who've been assessed and approved on a case by case basis. In addition to the once-a-week 90 minute session, the position provides a paid 60 minute prep time and a 30 minute post session wrap up time, for a total of three hours a week. Contractor rate is $50 per hour. This program is funded through September of 2019, but will likely continue if it's proven to meet a community need. Please submit a letter of interest and a resume to firstname.lastname@example.org.
